Our Animal Services coverage is designed for businesses engaged primarily in performing services and operations involving household pets or animals.   Animal shelters, boarding and breeding kennels, pet stores, pet training, and pet grooming are the types of business that may qualify for our Animal Services coverage.

General Liability Underwriting and Rating Considerations

• Limits up to $1MM/$2MM
• Rate per $1,000 gross sales for ISO class codes 16402, 16403, 16404 and per compartment (average daily) for class code 45450 (boarding)
• Kennel sales should be excluded from gross sales
• Therapy Dogs must have passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test
• Property Damage Extension $500/$1,000 included (higher limits available)
• Prohibited: animal rides, shows or contests (see our Special Events Program), animals trained for drugs or explosives, exotic animal training, exterminators
• Umbrella/Excess available
